Heart of Justice: Self-Care for BIPOC in Social Justice [POSTPONED]

  • Woodlawn Methodist Church 1425 NE Dekum St Portland, OR 97211 USA (map)

This 4 week healing group is for black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) womxn and femmes who are engaged in the work of dismantling unhealthy patterns in our society, or who are in the healing vocational path.  We are often at the forefront of social justice movements, and often the first to experience burnout and loss of heart. This group will offer space to share stories of struggle, resistance and resilience.  This will be an opportunity to learn from one another, create a daily practice of self-care, and learn ways to hold space for others with minimal drain. Group will be held Mondays 5:30-7:30PM at Woodlawn Methodist Church in Portland, OR.

Offering for 4 weeks:

Capable (able to pay bills with savings): $200

Capable with effort (going paycheck to paycheck): $150

Struggling (hard to pay bills without assistance): $100
