Information You Provide to Us

  • Identifiers and Contact Information: when you use our contact form or fill up our intake form (for clients), we ask for your name, email, address, contact information, so that we may get in touch with you about your inquiry. Your email and name is also provided to us when you sign up for our mailing list. 

  • Payment Information: This is collected through the third-party app client portal, Simple Practice, should you book an appointment and would like to secure your slot with us. You can view the Simple Practice privacy policy here

  • Communications with us: If you provide us with information when you communicate with us via form, email, phone, or otherwise, we store a copy of our communications (including any call recordings as permitted by applicable law).

  • With your consent (your selection at our Cookie Policy banner): we also collect non-identifiable data to improve our Service should you say “OK”. This non-identifiable data include: location, device, software, searches you make, pages you view, clicks, and time spent on pages. Squarespace uses analytics and Performance cookies to collect this information so that we can better understand how visitors interact with our Service.

How and Why We Use Information

We use information about you for the purposes listed below:

  • To provide our Services. For example, to assess and set up psychotherapy sessions, to provide customer service, to set up workshops or other offerings, to verify user information. 

  • To ensure quality, maintain safety, and improve our Services. For example, by monitoring and analyzing how users interact with our Services so we can create new features that we think our users will enjoy and that will help them create and manage websites more efficiently or make our Services easier to use.

  • To communicate with you. For example, by emailing you to ask for your feedback; to attend to any of your queries you might have sent; texting you to verify your payment; and others. If you don’t want to hear from us, such as if you change your mind about being on our mailing list, you can opt out of marketing communications at any time. However, important updates or communications relating to any other services you might be a part of will still be sent to you. 

  • To fix problems with our Services. For example, by monitoring, debugging, repairing, and preventing issues.

This includes vendors that help us provide our Services to you (like Simple Practice, which powers our Psychotherapy booking service and payments, and Mailchimp, our email marketing service provider; Squarespace, who help to provide tools to help us run our operations and enhance our Service;).   • Legal and regulatory requirements: We may disclose information about you in response to a subpoena, court order, or other governmental request.

  • Aggregated or de-identified information: We may share information that has been aggregated or de-identified, so that it can no longer reasonably be used to identify you. For instance, we may publish aggregate statistics about the use of our Services, or share a hashed version of your email address to facilitate customized ad campaigns on other platforms.

Cookies Policy

Besides functional and necessary cookies to allow the website to function, analytics and performance cookies will heed your consent, as indicated by your choice selected at our cookie banner (OK or Decline). We use cookies and similar tracking technologies through Squarespace to track the activity on our Service and hold certain information.
